Well summer’s just over and autumn is virtually with us but before you know it, its Christmas time again!!! Well here’s the trailer for Disney’s A christmas Carol, thanks to  Yahoo via Trailer Addict.

Ebenezer Scrooge begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk and his cheery nephew. But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it’s too late.

This animated retelling of the Charles Dicken’s classic has been directed written for the screen by Robert Zemeckis who brought us great delights such as Back To The Future Trilogy, Forest Gump and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Absoluetly brillant cast giving their voice talents to this animation; Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge as well as the 3 ghosts that visit Scrooge. Gary Oldman as Bob Crachit, Marley and Tiny Tim!!! Robin Wright-Penn, Colin Firth, Michael J Fox, Bob Hoskins and Cary Elwes.

The movie has followed the trend of having a version which will be in IMAX 3D and I wonder how Dickens would have reacted to seeing his book in 3-D, then again any form thats not a book would have been a shocking surprise. Well this movie is one of the early Christmas flicks as its been released in UK on November 6th, but as it has a strong cast and Disney behind it I’m sure it’ll be still showing in the Cinemas right up to Christmas and possibly into 2010.

Every Christmas time I do enjoy Dicken’s classic book and ill it I sadly love watching the Muppet’s version as well as the Patrick Stewart version you can get the sense of Christmas spirit with Dicken’s. Have a gander at the trailer and post your comments below the trailer.
