Wish coming to cinemas 22nd November

Disney knows how to deliver the magic and mythos of When you wish upon that infamous star they adore. This autumn it becomes a film in Wish and today we get a look at the first Trailer which teases Chris Pine wants that ‘wish’!

His singing may have not have been to rock n roll star levels in Dungeons & Dragons movie, It caught Disney‘s eye who have made him the King in this next animated musical. Yesterday we learned Pine ‘s voice casting at CinemaCon which was kept under wraps. This film has special significance as it’s Disney’s 62nd film, it’s also celebrating the animation studios centenary which formed in 1923.

What we know about this one, our heroine Asha (Ariana DeBose) a 17 year old girl who has a pet goat Valentino (Alan Tudyk) who both live in the kingdom of Rosas, a fantastical land located off the Iberian Peninsula. Ruled by King Magnifico (Pine), a kingdom of wishes and Asha gets one, a ball of endless energy which the king wants!

After the disappointing 2022, this year will be a big year for the house of Disney. This trailer introduces the main characters and this looks to have a slice of the old magic we expect from the studio. It also has the old fashioned painted backgrounds, check it out…
