Justin Chon’s Blue Bayou Starring Alicia Vikander UK Home Release

It’s not where you’re from, it’s where you belong and next month Dazzler Media will release Justin Chon‘s Blue Bayou. Coming to to Blu-ray, DVD with Alicia Vikander fights for her family as the man she loves is being deported from the only country he knows.

Chon directs and stars as Antonio an Korean-American man adopted brought up in Louisiana. Kathy (Vikander) his wife has a daughter they are trying to make a life for themselves. Things are turned upside down after an confrontation with a police officer see Antonio arrested and threatened with immigration, seeing him fight for his citizenship.

From award-winning writer/director Justin Chon (Gook, Twilight) and inspired by true events, Blue Bayou is the moving and timely story of an American family fighting for their future.

Antonio LeBlanc (Chon), a uniquely Korean adoptee raised in a small town in the Louisiana bayou, is married to the love of his life Kathy (Alicia Vikander, The Green Knight, Ex Machina) and stepdad to their beloved daughter Jessie. Struggling to make a better life for his family, he must confront the ghosts of his past when he discovers that he could be deported from the only country he has ever called home.

Dazzler Media will release Blue Bayou on Blu-ray and DVD from 27th June in the UK and Ireland.
