Second Nosferatu Trailer 'Sucumbs To The Darkness'!

When the new year arrives will you ‘succumb to the darkness’? Behold, Universal Pictures release second UK Trailer for Robert Eggers‘ Nosferatu, will you greet death with a smile ?

All based on F.W Murnau‘s 1922 original film but not the first remake. Werner Herzog‘s 1979 Nosferatu The Vampyre, the classic gothic tale of obsession and we love what we’re seeing. This new trailer certainly gives us the best impression of what we can expect. This looks like will honour the orignal storyline with a more ‘violent’ version and the tone feels creepy.

Who plays Count Orlok and the young woman he becomes obsessed with? Orlok is played by Bill Skarsgård with Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter. Orlok is no ordinary person, he’s a vampire and meets Ellen thanks to her husband Thomas (Hoult) who is in Transylvania to sell the Counts estate.

Don’t expect to get a glimpse of Skarsgård as the Count, Univeral are keeping things under tabs. So far Npsferatu is living up to the hype and hopefully will when 2025 arrives.
