The Sunlit Night UK Trailer Jenny Slate Heads To Norway In The Name Of Art

How far will you go? Would you head to Norway in the name of art? In Jenny Slate’s indie The Sunlit Night she heads to the farthest corners to be inspired.
Today BlueFInch Film Releasing have released the UK Trailer for the film, which is directed by David Wnendt (Wetlands) and based on the book by Rebecca Dinerstein. Slate plays an aspiring New York painter in dire need of inspiration who heads to the Norwegian artic circle. She becomes an assistant to a master painter, a perfect escape of her life in the Big Apple that is falling apart.
In a way this film reminds us at times of The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. A big slice of lonely life and those people in our little world who this place we called home in a unique way .

The Sunlit Night follows painter s (Slate) as she leaves her life in New York in search of inspiration in the Norwegian Arctic circle. In a remote village, among the locals, she meets a fellow New Yorker (Sharp), who has come in search of a proper Viking funeral only to find that the Chief (Galifianakis) is nothing but a re-enactor from Cincinnati. Under a sun that never quite sets, and the high standards of an unforgiving mentor, s must navigate between ambition and desire in order to find a way forward.
The film also stars Alex Sharp, Fridtjov SÃ¥heim, David Paymer, Gillian Anderson, and Zach Galifianakis.
The Sunlit Night will be released in the UK and Ireland on Digital HD from 16th November.
