Nothing as it appears as Blue Finch Film Releasing release the mind-bending UK Trailer for indie sci-fi Ultrasound.

After premiering at Tribeca Film Festival, last year Rob Schroeder’s directorial feature debut is set for it’s UK release. A surreal world described as a dark puzzle box thriller that shares a similar tone to Memento and Primer.

If you were to have car trouble you don’t want to break down close the research facility in this film. When a young man’s night takes a bizarre twist with strange events about to change his life. Meanwhile elsewhere an emotionally wrecked young woman whose experience converges with the young man.

When his car breaks down, a young man, Glen, spends a strange night with a married couple which takes a bizarre twist, setting off a series of events destined to change all of their lives. At the same time, in a nondescript research facility, medical professional Shannon begins questioning her role in a bizarre experiment, fearing that she’s doing more harm than good. Elsewhere, an attractive young woman is feeling emotionally wrecked by a secret romantic arrangement that feels like textbook gaslighting. How these seemingly unconnected incidents converge is only part of the mind-bending mystery…

The debut feature from director Rob Schroeder (producer, Beyond the Gates) and starring Mad Men’s Vincent Kartheiser, Ultrasound has played at Tribeca, Fantasia and London’s FrightFest film festivals, where it has been acclaimed as a striking, hallucinatory work and future cult classic

The film stars Vincent Kartheiser, Chelsea Lopez, Breeda Wool Tunde Adebimpe, Chris Gartin, and Rainey Qualley. Ultrasound will be released in the UK as well as Ireland on all Digital Platforms from 20th June.
